WINDIGO SYNTH RS 5W-50 is a motor oil aimed for the fuel efficient / economy operation of engines. To guarantee the performance of the SAE 5W-class together with low volatility it consists entirely of HC-synthesis-technology and PAO base oils which meet the high technological demands of the latest engine generation.

WINDIGO SYNTH RS 5W-50 is for the fuel efficient, all-year use in modern passenger car gasoline and diesel engines and was developed for turbocharged engines as well as for cars with a catalyst.

The oil contains an antiwear additive - WINDIGO ECO - Universal Oil Package

API SN - American quality standard for engine oils for petrol engines. Provides protection against wear, deposit formation and oil oxidation, and keeps the engine clean at high operating temperatures.

API CF - standard for diesel engines providing protection against wear, deposit formation and corrosion. Sets requirements for the lubricating and detergent properties of engine oil in diesel engine operation.

ACEA A3/B4 / A3/B3-10▼

European specifications of engine oils for high-performance petrol and diesel engines of passenger cars.

ACEA A3/B4 provides high oil film stability at elevated temperatures and loads, and protection against wear and deposit formation. Includes requirements for direct-injection diesel engines.

ACEA A3/B3-10 - the 2010 revision of the European ACEA A3/B3 specification. Provides stable viscosity characteristics, wear protection and cleanliness of petrol and diesel engines.

Both categories are characterised by a high-temperature HTHS viscosity of at least 3.5 mPa·s.
